If you are starting from the Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl), head northeast on Herzog-Friedrich-Straße towards the intersection with Maria-Theresien-Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schlossergasse. Turn left onto Schlossergasse. After a short walk, you will find Kolbenturm at Schlossergasse 3, on your right.

From Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take tram line 1 towards 'Igls' or tram line 3 towards 'Tulfes'. Get off at the stop 'Marktplatz'. From there, walk southwest on Innstraße towards the bridge. Cross the river and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schlossergasse. Turn right on Schlossergasse, and Kolbenturm will be located at number 3 on your left.
