Car
If you're traveling by car, start from any point in Innviertel and head towards the A1 motorway. Follow the signs for Wien (Vienna) and take the A1 towards the city. Continue on the A1 until you reach the city limits, then follow the signs for Zentrum (City Center). Once in the city, navigate to Graben 28 in the Innere Stadt area, where the Column of Pest is located. Note that parking in the city can be expensive; consider using public parking garages nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Column of Pest using public transport, you can take a regional train (ÖBB) from any station in Innviertel to Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station). From there, transfer to the U1 subway line (red line) towards Stephansplatz. Disembark at Stephansplatz station, and from there, it's a short walk to Graben 28. Follow the signs for Graben, and you will find the Column of Pest located at that address.
Walking
If you're already in the Innere Stadt area, walking to the Column of Pest is a pleasant option. From the nearest U-Bahn station, Stephansplatz, exit and walk towards Graben Street. Head north on Graben for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Column of Pest located at Graben 28. This is a great way to explore the beautiful surroundings of Vienna's historic center.
