If you are driving from the center of Innviertel, take the A1 highway towards Salzburg. Continue on the A1 for about 25 kilometers, then take exit 297 towards Salzburg/Thalgau. Follow the signs for B158 and merge onto B158. After approximately 5 kilometers, follow signs to the city center. Once in Salzburg, navigate to the address 5020 Salzburg, where Margarethenkapelle is located. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a spot in the surrounding streets.
Public Transportation
To reach Margarethenkapelle via public transport, start at the Innviertel bus station. Take bus line 450 towards Salzburg. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Salzburg Mirabellplatz stop. From there, you can either walk or take a local bus (line 3 or 5) towards St. Peter. The walk to Margarethenkapelle from Mirabellplatz is about 20 minutes. Head east on Mirabellplatz, crossing the Salzach River via the Makartsteg bridge, then continue to follow signs towards St. Peter, where you will find the chapel located at 5020 Salzburg.
