Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kufstein. Head south on B173 towards the town of Ebbs. Continue on this route for approximately 10 km until you reach the junction for B178. Turn left onto B178 and follow the signs towards Going am Wilden Kaiser. After about 5 km, you will see signs for 'Zettenkaiser' which will direct you to the parking area at Walleralm. The parking area is located at the base of the hiking trail. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the train from Kufstein to the nearest station, which is going to be 'Küssen' or 'Ebbs.' The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. From the train station, you will need to take bus line 828 towards 'Söll' and disembark at the 'Walleralm' stop. This bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Please check the local bus schedules ahead of time, as service may vary. Upon arrival at Walleralm, you will find the trailhead for Zettenkaiser nearby. Be sure to carry some change for the bus fare, which is around €3-5.

Once you arrive at Walleralm, the hiking trail to Zettenkaiser begins at the parking lot. The trail is well-marked and takes approximately 1-2 hours to reach the summit, depending on your pace. The hike is moderate in difficulty and provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains, so make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water and snacks.
