If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the town of Kufstein, which is easily reachable via the A93 highway. Once in Kufstein, follow the signs for B173 heading towards Ebbs. Continue on B173 until you reach the junction for the L37 road. Turn onto L37 and follow it until you reach the village of Hochegg. From there, look for the signs indicating the Wanderweg Walleralm trail. Park your vehicle in the designated parking area near the trailhead. The Zettenkaiser is accessible via a well-marked hiking path from this point. Note that parking may have a fee, typically around €5 for a day.

To reach Zettenkaiser using public transportation, take a train to Kufstein station. From Kufstein, board a local bus that goes to Ebbs. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as services may vary; the bus ride typically takes about 15 minutes. Once in Ebbs, you will need to transfer to another bus that heads towards Hochegg. After arriving at Hochegg, follow the signs to the Wanderweg Walleralm trail. You may need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the trailhead.
