Getting There

    If you are driving, head towards Molln, located at 4591 Molln in Austria. From Vienna, take the A1 motorway towards Linz, then switch to the A9 towards Graz. Exit at 'Molln' and follow the signs for Nationalpark Kalkalpen. The park entrance is well-marked, and parking is available at various locations within the park. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 per day.

    To reach Nationalpark Kalkalpen via public transport, take a train to the nearest train station, which is 'Klaus an der Pyhrnbahn.' From Vienna, you can take a direct train to Linz and then transfer to a regional train heading towards Klaus. The train journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at Klaus, you can take a local bus (Bus Number 410) that will take you directly to Molln, where you can access the park. Bus tickets cost around €3.50.
