If you are driving, start by heading east on Kesselfallstraße from the center of Kaprun. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Kitzsteinhorn; follow these signs. The road will lead you directly to the parking area near the Kitzsteinhorn cable car station.

To reach Kitzsteinhorn via public transport, start at the Kaprun bus station. Take bus line 660 towards Zell am See. Get off at the 'Kitzsteinhornbahn' stop, which is approximately a 15-minute ride. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the cable car station, which is just a short walk away.
