The last part of the journey requires navigating narrow mountain roads, so proceed with caution. Parking is available at the trailhead near Stempeljoch.

From Innsbruck, take the bus line 4131 towards Thaur. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you reach the Thaur stop, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach the trailhead for Stempeljoch. This part of the journey involves following local walking paths, which may not be well-marked, so be sure to have a map or GPS on hand. Be mindful of the bus schedule, as service may be limited, particularly on weekends.
