    To reach Hohljoch by car, start from Innsbruck, which is the nearest major city. Head north on the A12 motorway towards the town of Pertisau. Follow signs for the Karwendel Mountains. Once you reach Pertisau, take the B181 road towards the Achensee lake. Continue on this road until you reach the turnoff for the Hohljoch. There is limited parking available near the pass. Please note that parking fees may apply, so be prepared with change or a parking card.

    To reach Hohljoch using public transportation, start at Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the train to Jenbach, which is the nearest train station to Hohljoch. From Jenbach, transfer to the bus that goes to Pertisau (Bus line 35). Once you arrive in Pertisau, you may need to hike or arrange for a taxi to reach the Hohljoch area, as direct public transport does not go all the way to the pass.
