If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the town of Pertisau, which is one of the main access points to the Karwendel Mountains. From Pertisau, drive to the Karwendelbahn cable car station. The address is Karwendelbahn, 6213 Pertisau, Austria. Parking is available at the station, but it may incur a fee of around €5-10 for a day. Once parked, take the cable car to the top station, which is at an elevation of approximately 1,800 meters.
