If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Gnadenwald, located just outside of Innsbruck. From Innsbruck, take the A12 motorway towards Kufstein. Exit at 'Innsbruck West' and follow the B171. Continue on the B171 until you reach Gnadenwald. Once in Gnadenwald, look for signs pointing to Walderalm, which is located at Gnadenwald 53. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Walderalm using public transportation, you can take a train to Innsbruck from various locations in Austria. Once in Innsbruck, transfer to Bus Line 4121 towards Hall in Tirol, and get off at the Gnadenwald stop. From there, it’s approximately a 1.5 km walk to Walderalm. Follow the signs towards Walderalm, which will lead you through a scenic pathway. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may vary.
Walking from Gnadenwald Bus Stop
After getting off at the Gnadenwald bus stop, head south on Gnadenwald 53. Follow the road as it curves and continues straight. You'll begin to see signs for Walderalm. The walk is about 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as the path can be a bit uneven.
