Getting There

• Car

  If you are travelling by car, start your journey towards Karwendelsteg Wasserfall from the center of the Karwendel region. Enter the following coordinates into your GPS: 47.3957499, 11.2993909. Drive on the Karwendeltalweg road, which leads directly to the waterfall. The drive should take approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic. There is parking available near the trailhead leading to the waterfall, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee, typically around €5 for the day.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in Pertisau. From Pertisau, you can catch a local bus (Bus Line 4110) heading towards 'Karwendelsteg'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. Once you arrive at the 'Karwendelsteg' stop, it's a short 10-minute walk along the well-marked trail to reach the waterfall. The bus fare is approximately €3-€5 one way.
