After approximately 30 km, take the exit for Schwaz and follow the B171 road towards Pertisau. From there, follow the signs for Karwendel, which will lead you into the mountains. You will eventually reach the parking area at the base of Karwendeltal. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.
