Car
If you are driving from Katschberg, head south on Katschberghöhe road (B99) towards the town of Murau. Continue on B99 for about 30 km until you reach the junction with L119. Turn right onto L119, which will lead you into the town of Mur. Follow the signs for Murinsel, which is situated near the banks of the Mur River. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check local signage for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
From Katschberg, you can take a bus to Murau. Look for the bus stop near your accommodation and check the local timetable for bus services (such as Busline 471). The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Murau, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) to Murinsel by heading towards the river, or you can take a local taxi to your destination. Be aware that bus tickets may cost around €5-€10 depending on your route.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the town of Mur, start from the central square and head towards the Mur River. Follow the path along the riverbank until you reach Murinsel. This scenic walk will take about 20 minutes and is a pleasant way to enjoy the local environment.
