Getting There

• Train

  From Kitzbühel, walk to the Kitzbühel Bahnhof (train station), which is located in the center of Kitzbühel. Once there, purchase a ticket for a train to Jenbach. Trains run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Jenbach station, exit the station and look for the signs directing you to Schloss Tratzberg. It is approximately a 15-minute walk from the train station. You will need to head northeast on Bahnhofstraße, then take a left onto Tratzbergstraße, which will lead you directly to the castle entrance.

• Bus

  From Kitzbühel, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Kitzbühel Bahnhof. Catch the bus number 4070 towards Jenbach. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Jenbach stop. After getting off, you can either walk or take a taxi to Schloss Tratzberg. If walking, head northeast on Bahnhofstraße, then take a left onto Tratzbergstraße, which will lead you directly to the castle entrance, which is about a 15-minute walk.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle in Kitzbühel from one of the local bike rental shops. Once you have your bicycle, head southwest on the B161 road. Follow the bike path signs towards Jenbach. The distance is approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 1 hour to bike. Upon arriving in Jenbach, follow the signs for Schloss Tratzberg, which is about 3 kilometers from the town center.
