To reach Lake Kreda from Klagenfurt, start by heading to the main bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof). Take bus line 50 towards 'Gorišnica'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Zgornje Gorje'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 10 minutes, following the signs towards the lake. The path will lead you directly to Lake Kreda.

Train and Bus
Begin your journey at Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). Take a train to 'Jesenice' and then transfer to bus line 55 towards 'Zgornje Gorje'. The bus ride will take around 25 minutes. Disembark at the 'Zgornje Gorje' bus stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Lake Kreda. Just follow the signs that lead you to the lake.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Klagenfurt. Head towards the northern part of the city and follow the designated bike paths leading to Zgornje Gorje. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arriving in Zgornje Gorje, follow the signs to Lake Kreda, which is about a 10-minute ride from the town center.

For a scenic walking route, you can start from the center of Klagenfurt. Walk north towards the outskirts of the city, following the signs for Zgornje Gorje. This will be a long walk of about 1.5 to 2 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. Once you reach Zgornje Gorje, you will see signs directing you to Lake Kreda, which is just a short walk from the village.
