If you are starting from the Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head south onto Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Radetzkystraße. Turn left onto Radetzkystraße and walk for another 300 meters. This road will lead you directly to the city center. Once you reach the Alter Platz, continue straight until you see the impressive architecture of the City Main Parish Church of St. Egid on your right at Pfarrplatz 7.

From the Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof, take the bus number 40 or 41 towards 'Wörthersee - Velden' or 'Klagenfurt - Hauptplatz' respectively. Get off at the stop 'Hauptplatz', which is approximately a 5-minute ride. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the east side of the Hauptplatz, and you will see the City Main Parish Church of St. Egid just a few steps away at Pfarrplatz 7.

If you are in the vicinity of the Wörthersee, head towards the city center by walking north along the lake promenade. As you approach the city, turn left onto the B83 (Müllnernstraße) and continue walking until you reach the bridge over the Glan River. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the main square (Hauptplatz). From there, walk about 200 meters east, and you will find the City Main Parish Church of St. Egid at Pfarrplatz 7.
