Walking
If you are starting from the Linz Main Train Station (Linz Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head south towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Zentrum' and walk approximately 1.5 km. You'll pass by the beautiful Stadtpark on your right. Continue straight until you reach the pedestrian area. Once you enter the pedestrian zone, continue straight until you reach Hauptplatz (Main Square). The Glockenspiel is located at Hauptpl. 18, right on the square, easily visible.
Public Transport - Tram
From the Linz Main Train Station, you can take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Südtiroler Platz' or 'Dornach'. Get off at 'Hauptplatz' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will be right in Hauptplatz (Main Square). The Glockenspiel is located at Hauptpl. 18, just a short walk away, right on the square.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are near a bus stop, take bus line 12, 13, or 19 that goes towards 'Hauptplatz'. This will drop you off directly at Hauptplatz. After exiting the bus, you can easily find the Glockenspiel at Hauptpl. 18, located prominently in the square.
