Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Vienna from any location in Lower Austria. Use the A1 motorway and follow signs for A23 towards Wien. Take the exit for Landstraße and continue on B227 for approximately 3 km. Follow signs for the Belvedere and park at the designated parking areas nearby, which may incur a fee (typically around €4-€5 for a few hours). The Austrian Gallery Belvedere is located at Prinz-Eugen-Straße 27, 1030 Wien.

• Train

  For those using public transport, take a train from various locations in Lower Austria to Vienna Hauptbahnhof (Main Station). Trains are frequent and can take anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour depending on your starting point. Once at Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs to the U1 subway line (red line). Take the U1 towards Leopoldau and get off at 'Karlsplatz'. From Karlsplatz, transfer to Tram Line D towards Nußdorf. Get off at the 'Schwarzenbergplatz' stop. The Belvedere is a short walk from the tram stop, following the signs towards Prinz-Eugen-Straße.

• Bus

  If you're near a bus station, you can take an intercity bus to Vienna, which is often a cost-effective option. Check local bus schedules for routes to Vienna. Once in Vienna, you can use the same public transport methods mentioned above (U1 subway or Tram D) to reach the Austrian Gallery Belvedere at Prinz-Eugen-Straße 27.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider cycling to the Belvedere. There are designated cycling paths from various towns in Lower Austria to Vienna. Once in Vienna, follow local bike routes to reach the gallery. Check for bike racks at the gallery, as parking may be limited. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic regulations.
