Once you arrive in Krems, transfer to the local bus (Bus 720) that goes to Dürnstein. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the town, from where you can walk to the castle. Keep in mind that a train ticket from Vienna to Krems costs around €15-€20, and the bus may charge a small fare (around €3).
