  If you are driving from the center of Mayrhofen, head southeast on Hauptstraße/B169. Follow the B169 for about 3 km. Once you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Zillertalstraße/B169. Continue for another 2 km until you reach the junction for Gerlosstein. Turn left onto Gerlossteinstraße. Follow this road for approximately 5 km until you see the signs for Almtribüne. There is parking available near the restaurant, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

  To reach Almtribüne using public transportation, start at the Mayrhofen train station. Take the Zillertalbahn train towards Kaltenbach and alight at the 'Hippach' stop. From there, catch the bus line 430 towards Gerlos. Get off at the 'Gerlosstein' stop, which is the nearest bus stop to Almtribüne. The restaurant is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop; simply follow the path up the hill and look for signage directing you to Almtribüne.   If you prefer to walk from the center of Mayrhofen, head southeast on Hauptstraße/B169 towards Zillertalstraße. After approximately 1.5 km, turn onto Gerlossteinstraße. While this is a longer trek (about 8 km), you will enjoy scenic views along the way. It's advisable to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Keep in mind that this route may take around 2 hours, so plan accordingly.
