If you are driving from the center of Mayrhofen, start by heading south on Hauptstraße/B169 towards Schwendau. Continue on B169 for about 3 kilometers. As you approach Schwendau, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Horbergbahn. Turn right onto Kohlstatt, where you will find the Horbergbahn station at Kohlstatt 263, 6283 Schwendau. Parking is available nearby, and you may incur a parking fee depending on the time of year.

From Mayrhofen, you can take the regional bus service (Bus Line 833) towards Schwendau. Board the bus at the Mayrhofen bus station, which is located near the train station. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Schwendau Horbergbahn', which is directly adjacent to the cable car station. The bus fare is usually around €2-3 per person. Once you arrive, you will see the Horbergbahn station at Kohlstatt 263.
