If you are driving, start your journey from the center of Mostviertel. Use the A1 motorway and head towards St. Pölten. Take the exit 63-Purgstall, then merge onto B25. Follow signs to Purgstall an der Erlauf. Once you reach Purgstall, continue on Erlauftalstraße until you reach Erlauftalstraße 44, where Erlaufschlucht is located. The total driving time is approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
For public transport, begin at the nearest train station in Mostviertel. Take a train towards Purgstall an der Erlauf. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Purgstall an der Erlauf station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop nearby. Take bus number 480 towards Wieselburg and get off at the stop 'Purgstall, Erlaufschlucht'. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to Erlauftalstraße 44.
