If you're driving from the center of Mostviertel, head southeast on B1 towards St. Pölten. Continue on B1 for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the exit for B33 towards Krems. Merge onto B33 and continue for about 10 kilometers. Take the exit towards Furth bei Göttweig. Follow the signs for Stift Göttweig and turn left onto Stift Göttweig 1. The abbey will be on your right.

To reach Göttweig Abbey using public transportation, start by taking a train from the nearest train station in Mostviertel to Krems an der Donau. From Krems, transfer to bus number 671 towards Furth bei Göttweig. The bus will take you directly to the stop 'Stift Göttweig.' From the bus stop, it’s just a short walk to the entrance of the abbey. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may vary.
