Look for signs indicating the Großer Schleierwasserfall. There is parking available nearby, but please be aware that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €5 for the day.

If you're using public transportation, take a train to the nearest major town, which is Amstetten. From Amstetten, board a regional bus towards Hohenberg. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may not be frequent. Once you arrive at Hohenberg, it’s approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Großer Schleierwasserfall. Follow the signs to L5211 and head north. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk may include some uneven terrain.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike in Mostviertel and ride along scenic routes towards Hohenberg. Follow the cycling paths leading north to the L5211 road. The ride can take about an hour, depending on your pace, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach L5211, follow the road to the Großer Schleierwasserfall. Make sure to carry a water bottle and some snacks for the journey.
