Car

Once in Puchberg, follow the signs for the Hochschneeberg cable car station. There is a parking area available near the cable car station, but be aware that there might be a parking fee, typically around €5-€10 for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Gipfelkreuz Hochschneeberg using public transportation, take a train from Vienna to Puchberg am Schneeberg. Trains run regularly, and you can check the schedule on the ÖBB website. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Puchberg am Schneeberg station, walk to the Hochschneeberg cable car station, which is about a 10-minute walk. You will need to purchase a ticket for the cable car, costing around €20 for a round trip.
Cable Car
After reaching the Hochschneeberg cable car station in Puchberg, buy your ticket to the summit, which will take you directly to the Gipfelkreuz Hochschneeberg. The cable car ride offers stunning views and takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark at the top station, follow the clearly marked trails to reach the Gipfelkreuz, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the cable car station.
Hiking
If you prefer hiking, you can take the well-marked hiking trails from Puchberg am Schneeberg to the Gipfelkreuz Hochschneeberg. This hike is moderate in difficulty and takes about 2-3 hours, covering a distance of approximately 7 km. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry sufficient water and snacks.
