Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main road in Mount Schneeberg and head towards the Hochschneeberg area. Follow the signs for 'Bergbahnhof' and park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the cable car station. The coordinates for 'Bergbahnhof' are 47.7603187, 15.8304291. Please note that there may be a parking fee, so ensure you have some cash or a card ready.
Cable Car
Once you arrive at Bergbahnhof, purchase a ticket for the cable car that goes up to Hochschneeberg. The ticket price may vary depending on the season, so check the current rates at the ticket counter. The cable car ride will take approximately 15 minutes and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Hiking
After disembarking the cable car at Hochschneeberg, you will need to hike to Gipfelkreuz Waxriegel. Follow the marked trails leading from the cable car station towards Gipfelkreuz Waxriegel.
