ÖTK - Fischerhütte: A Mountain Haven on Schneeberg

The ÖTK - Fischerhütte, perched at 2,049 meters above sea level on the Hochschneeberg, is a quintessential Austrian mountain refuge. Over the years, it has been expanded and modernized, with additions including electricity, telephone service, and a supply route from the cog railway.Today, the Fischerhütte offers comfortable accommodations, hearty Austrian meals, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's an ideal base for exploring the surrounding peaks, including the Kaiserstein and Klosterwappen, the highest point in Lower Austria.
