    From Vienna, take a train from Hauptbahnhof to Wiener Neustadt, then transfer to a regional train to Puchberg am Schneeberg. From Puchberg station, the Schneebergbahn is adjacent. The train journey from Vienna to Puchberg takes approximately 1 hour 25 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes. A standard single train fare from Vienna to Wiener Neustadt costs approximately €15-25. The regional train from Wiener Neustadt to Puchberg am Schneeberg is about €5-10. The Schneebergbahn ticket to Hochschneeberg (summit station) ranges from €42-52 for an adult round trip.

    From Vienna, take the A2 towards Graz and exit at Wiener Neustadt-West. Follow the B26 to Puchberg am Schneeberg. In Puchberg, turn right into Bahnstraße to reach Bahnhofplatz 1, the location of the Schneebergbahn. Parking is available in Puchberg. Follow the parking guidance system. Parking fees around €6 per day. Charging stations for electric cars are available at parking lot 2.
