Car
If you are driving from central Mühlviertel, take the B126 road heading towards Linz. After approximately 30 km, merge onto the A7 motorway towards Linz. Continue for around 10 km and take exit 27-Linz-Urfahr. Follow the signs for Urfahr and then take the B139 towards Linz. As you approach Linz, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Liegeplatz Schönbrunn. The destination is located at 4040 Linz, which you can enter into your GPS for precise navigation. Parking is usually available nearby, but do check for any parking fees in the area.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, start by taking a regional train from any station in Mühlviertel towards Linz. The journey will typically take about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Linz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), transfer to tram line 3 in the direction of 'Pichling' and get off at the 'Schönbrunn' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Liegeplatz Schönbrunn. Be sure to validate your tram ticket before boarding to avoid any fines. The cost of a single ticket is approximately €2.20.
