To reach Vítkův Castle from Linz, start by taking the tram line 1 from Landstraße to the Linz Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station). From there, board a train towards Český Krumlov. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the station called 'Přední Výtoň'. Once you arrive, exit the train station and follow the signs towards Svatý Tomáš. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the train station to the castle. Follow the main road, and you will see signs directing you to Vítkův Castle.

Walking

If you are already near the banks of the Vltava River in Linz, head towards the riverfront and follow the path along the river. You can walk towards the south direction, following the trail which will eventually lead you to Přední Výtoň. This route is scenic and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, but it is essential to prepare for a long walk of about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Taxi

For a more direct route, you may consider taking a taxi from Linz to Vítkův Castle. You can find taxis at various locations in Linz, such as at the Linz Hauptbahnhof or in the city center.
