Public Transport
From Vienna Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take bus line 200 to Laxenburg Franz-Josephs Platz. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. From Laxenburg Franz-Josephs-Platz, it's a short 3-minute walk to the main park entrance at Tor Schlossplatz (P1). A single bus fare within Vienna costs around €2.40 [Bus cost]. Alternatively, from Mödling Bahnhof (train station), take bus line 215 to Laxenburg Franz-Josephs Platz. This journey takes approximately 20 minutes. From there, it is a 3-minute walk to the Schlosspark entrance.
Driving
Laxenburg Castle Park is located approximately 25 km south of Vienna. Take the A2 (E59) motorway towards Graz and exit at Wiener Neudorf. Follow the signs to Laxenburg. There are approximately 1,000 free parking spaces available at the main park entrance (P1), the equestrian center entrance (P2, open on weekends and holidays), and the recreation center entrance (P3). Parking is permitted for a maximum of 24 hours.
