Walking
Esterházy Palace is centrally located in Eisenstadt and easily accessible on foot from most points in the city center. From the Eisenstadt Rathaus (Town Hall), walk east along Hauptstraße, the main street. Continue straight, and you'll see the palace on your right-hand side after approximately 5 minutes. No costs involved.
Public Transport
If arriving by train at Eisenstadt train station, take the City Bus lines 1, 2, 3, or 4 towards the city center. Get off at the Schloss Esterházy stop, which is directly in front of the palace. A single ride on the city bus costs €1. Buses do not operate on Sundays and public holidays.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available in Eisenstadt. A short taxi ride from the Eisenstadt train station or any other location within the city center to Esterházy Palace will cost approximately €8. Several taxi services operate in Eisenstadt, including Alles Taxi (+43 664 888 65 777) and Sterne Taxi Birgit Zollner (+43 660 777 2020).
Driving
If driving, follow signs to Eisenstadt city center. Short-term parking is available in the city center, with parking fees of €0.70 per 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can park in the parking garage in front of Esterházy Palace for a reduced rate of €5 for four hours. The bus park 'Meierhof' is located next to Esterházy Palace.
