Getting There

• Public Transport

  From Eisenstadt's main train station (Eisenstadt Bahnhof), take bus number 2 towards 'Neufeld bei Eisenstadt'. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop 'Schloss See'. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs towards the lake. It's a short walk of about 5 minutes to reach Schloss See. Bus fare is approximately €2-3.

• Walking

  If you are near the city center of Eisenstadt, you can walk to Schloss See. Start from the Haydnplatz (the central square). Head northwest along the Hauptstraße for about 1 kilometer. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with the B50 road. Turn right onto B50 and continue for another 800 meters. You will see signs directing you to Schloss See. It will take approximately 25 minutes to walk there.

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Neusiedler See, head north on B50 towards Eisenstadt. Continue on B50 for about 15 km. As you approach Eisenstadt, take the exit towards Eisenstadt Zentrum. Follow the signs for Schloss See. The castle is located at 7000 Eisenstadt. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply. Short-term parking in the city center costs €0.70 per 30 minutes, with a maximum of 180 minutes (3 hours). Day parking is also available at various locations for €2.50-€4 per day.
