Car
If you are driving, head towards Tarrenz, which is located about 10 km west of Innsbruck. From Ötztal, take the A12 motorway towards Innsbruck and exit at the Zirl-Ost exit. Follow the B177 road towards Telfs and then follow the signs to Tarrenz. Once in Tarrenz, look for parking areas near the entrance to Salvesenschlucht. Be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.

To reach Salvesenschlucht via public transport, take a train from Ötztal Bahnhof to Telfs. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Telfs, transfer to bus line 4156 towards Tarrenz. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Tarrenz Ort' stop, and from there, it's a short walk to Salvesenschlucht. Ensure you check the local bus schedules for precise timings as they can vary, especially on weekends.

If you prefer to hike to Salvesenschlucht, you can do so from Tarrenz village. Starting from the center of Tarrenz, follow the marked hiking trail that leads to Salvesenschlucht.
