    If you are driving from the center of Längenfeld, take the B186 road heading south towards Oberried. Continue on B186 for about 5 kilometers until you reach a sign for 'Lehn'. Turn right onto Lehnstraße and follow it for about 1 kilometer. The Ötztaler home and open-air museum will be on your left at Lehn 24. There is parking available at the museum.

    To reach the Ötztaler home and open-air museum via public transport, take the Ötztalbahn train from Innsbruck to Längenfeld station. From Längenfeld, you can take bus line 419 towards Oberried. Get off at the 'Lehn' stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk approximately 500 meters along Lehnstraße, and you will find the museum on your right at Lehn 24.
