Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Pinzgau and head towards Krimml. Take the B165 road, which will lead you directly to Krimml. As you approach Krimml, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Oberer Achenfall. Once in Krimml, turn onto the road leading to the waterfalls, which is well-marked. There is a parking area near the falls, but please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to Zell am See and then transfer to a bus that goes to Krimml. The bus journey is approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Krimml, you can either walk to Oberer Achenfall, which is about a 30-minute hike, or take a local taxi from the bus stop, which should cost around €15.
