From the center of Hinterglemm, follow Hintermaisweg uphill. The road is accessible year-round. Parking is available at the hotel. Be aware that during peak season, parking may be limited. No tolls are expected on this immediate final approach.

From Zell am See, take bus line 680 to Hinterglemm. From the Hinterglemm bus terminal, it's approximately a 20-30 minute walk uphill along Hintermaisweg to reach Die Hintermaisalm. A single bus fare from Zell am See to Hinterglemm is approximately €6-8. Alternatively, from the Hinterglemm bus terminal, a taxi to Die Hintermaisalm will cost approximately €15-€20.

From the Zwölferkogelbahn middle station, follow the hiking trail (Route 8 in summer, ski slope 38 in winter) downhill towards Hintermaisalm. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Ensure appropriate footwear for mountain terrain. In winter, be mindful of skiers.
