Public Bus
From the Altstadt, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Linzer Gasse'. From there, take Bus Line 25 towards 'Salzburg, Hellbrunn'. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Hellbrunn' bus stop, disembark and follow the signs to Schloss Hellbrunn, which is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the heart of Altstadt at 'Getreidegasse'. Head south towards 'Makartplatz', and take 'Makartsteg' bridge across the Salzach River. After crossing, continue straight onto 'Fürstenweg'. Follow 'Fürstenweg' for about 2 kilometers until you reach Schloss Hellbrunn. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Taxi or Rideshare
For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare app. Simply request a ride to 'Fürstenweg 37, 5020 Salzburg'. The ride will take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. Costs may vary, but expect to pay around €10-€15.
