Getting There

  • Public Transport

    Start at Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take the S-Bahn line S3 towards Bad Ischl and get off at the St. Gilgen station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. From the St. Gilgen station, walk towards the town center and follow the signs towards Wolfgangsee. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes on foot to reach the lake and the Falkensteinwand area.

  • Bus

    From Salzburg, take the bus number 150 from the Salzburg Busterminal (near the main train station) towards St. Wolfgang. Get off at the St. Gilgen stop. This bus ride takes about 50 minutes. After disembarking, head towards the lake, and follow the walking path to Falkensteinwand, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
