Walking
If you are already in the city center of Salzburg, head towards the famous Getreidegasse, which is a pedestrian street known for its shops and historic buildings. Start at the Salzburg Cathedral (Dom zu Salzburg) and walk west along Domplatz. Continue straight onto Getreidegasse. You will see many charming storefronts on either side. Keep walking until you reach Getreidegasse 1, which is marked with a distinctive sign. It should take about 10 minutes by foot.
Public Transport - Bus
To reach Getreidegasse 1 by bus, find the nearest bus stop in the city center. You can take bus line 2 or 4. Board the bus heading towards 'Mirabellplatz' and get off at the 'Hofwirt' stop. From there, walk east towards Getreidegasse, which is just a short 5-minute walk away. Follow the signs directing you to the pedestrian area, and you will arrive at Getreidegasse 1.
Public Transport - Tram
You can also take the tram to reach your destination. Head to the nearest tram station, such as the 'Salzburg Hauptbahnhof' (main train station). Board tram line 1 towards 'Aigen' and get off at the 'Dom/Hellbrunn' stop. From the tram stop, walk north towards the Domplatz and follow the directions to Getreidegasse, which will be on your left. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop.
