    If you are starting from the Salzburg Cathedral (Salzburger Dom), exit the cathedral and head southeast towards the Residenza. Continue straight onto Universitätsplatz, then turn left onto the Getreidegasse. Follow Getreidegasse until you reach the end and turn right onto the Linzergasse. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Herbert-von-Karajan-Platz. The square will be on your left, next to the famous Salzburg Festival Hall.
