Start at Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take a train towards Berchtesgaden. After about 30 minutes, you will reach Berchtesgaden station. From there, transfer to bus line 841 towards Königssee. This bus will take you directly to the lake, which is a popular destination. The total travel time is around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
