Getting There

  • Public Transport - Train

    Start your journey at Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Purchase a ticket to Bad Ischl from the ticket counter or ticket machines. Trains to Bad Ischl run regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Bad Ischl station, exit the train and head towards the main street (Bahnhofstraße). Turn left and walk along Bahnhofstraße until you reach the intersection with Franz-Lehar-Kai. Turn right onto Franz-Lehar-Kai, and you will find Leharvilla (Museum) at Franz-Lehar-Kai 8 on your left.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From Salzburg, take Bus 150 from the Salzburg bus station, which is adjacent to the main train station. The bus route heads towards Bad Ischl. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Get off at the Bad Ischl bus stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the main road (Bahnhofstraße). From there, turn left and walk until you reach Franz-Lehar-Kai. Take a right onto Franz-Lehar-Kai, and Leharvilla (Museum) will be located at number 8 on your left side.

  • Walking - from Bad Ischl Train Station

    If you are already in Bad Ischl, start at the train station. Exit the station and head towards Bahnhofstraße. Turn left onto Bahnhofstraße and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Franz-Lehar-Kai. Turn right on Franz-Lehar-Kai, and continue walking for about 500 meters. Leharvilla (Museum) will be on your left at Franz-Lehar-Kai 8.
