To reach Leharvilla (Museum) in Bad Ischl from Salzburg, start by heading to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). Purchase a ticket to Bad Ischl at the ticket counter or from the machines. Once you have your ticket, board a train heading towards Bad Ischl. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and trains run regularly. Upon arrival at Bad Ischl station, exit the station and head left onto Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Franz-Lehar-Kai. Turn right onto Franz-Lehar-Kai and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Leharvilla, located at Franz-Lehar-Kai 8.

From Salzburg, you can also take a bus to Bad Ischl. Go to the Salzburg bus terminal and look for the bus heading to Bad Ischl. Make sure to check the schedule as the buses may not run as frequently as the trains. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Bad Ischl bus station, exit and walk straight onto Bahnhofstraße. After a few minutes, turn right onto Franz-Lehar-Kai, and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Leharvilla at Franz-Lehar-Kai 8.

For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Salzburg. You can rent a bike from various rental shops near the city center. Once you have your bicycle, head southeast towards the Salzach River and follow the cycling path along the river. This scenic route will lead you towards Bad Ischl. The distance is approximately 50 km, and you can expect the ride to take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Once in Bad Ischl, navigate to Franz-Lehar-Kai and find Leharvilla at number 8.
