Walking
If you are starting from the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), exit the station and head south on Südtiroler Str. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the Mirabell Palace. Enter the Mirabell Gardens and walk through the gardens towards the west exit. Once you exit the gardens, turn right onto Makartplatz. The Mozart Residence is located at Makartplatz 8, directly across the street from the gardens.

From the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof, take bus line 5 towards 'Salzburg, Lehen'. Get off at the 'Makartplatz' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Makartplatz 8, which is just a short distance away. You will be able to see the Mozart Residence clearly as you approach the area.

If you are in the Old Town (Altstadt), head towards the Salzach River and follow the riverbank southward. Continue walking until you reach the Makartsteg bridge.
