Bus
From the city center of Salzburg, head to the Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can take Bus line 25 or 28 towards Grödig. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Grödig' stop. From there, follow the signs to the Untersberg Cable Car station. It is about a 10-minute walk, and you will see signs directing you to the cable car entrance.
Train and Bus
Start your journey at Salzburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Take a regional train towards Berchtesgaden, and get off at 'Grödig' station. Upon arrival, transfer to Bus line 25 or 28 which will take you to the Untersberg Cable Car station. The entire journey will take around 1 hour. Follow the signs to the cable car entrance once you arrive.
Walking
If you are staying in the nearby area of Grödig, you can walk to the Untersberg Cable Car station. From the center of Grödig, head south on Hauptstraße, then turn left onto An den Bach. Continue straight until you reach the Untersberg Cable Car station. The walk will take about 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
