The Residenz Gallery features European paintings from the 16th to 19th centuries. The Cathedral Archway Terrace connects the Residenz with the Cathedral, offering panoramic views of Salzburg's Old Town. The Salzburg Cathedral is one of the grandest monumental buildings of the early Baroque period. Visitors can experience the interior from the Organ Loft. The Cathedral Museum displays precious liturgical objects and artworks. Finally, the tour includes St Peter's Abbey, the oldest monastery in the German-speaking world. Its museum displays art treasures from the abbey's collection. The DomQuartier is also home to locations of extraordinary significance in the history of music. W.A.
