Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from Schladming town center. Head southeast on Hauptstraße/B320 toward Reiteralmstraße. Continue on B320 for approximately 1.5 km. Follow signs for Planai and turn left onto Planai Straße. After about 2 km, look for signs directing you to the Aussichtspunkt auf Schladming, which is located near the top of the Planai mountain. There is a parking area available at the viewpoint, but note that parking fees may apply, so have some cash or a card ready.

  If you prefer public transportation, take the local bus service from Schladming to the Planai cable car station. The bus departs frequently from the main bus terminal in Schladming.
