If you are driving, start from Schladming town center and follow signs for B320 towards Radstadt. After approximately 5 km, take the exit towards Schladming-Dachstein and continue on the L722 road towards Rohrmoos. After about 7 km, you will reach the parking area near the base of Steirische Kalkspitze. Parking here may incur a small fee, so please have some cash ready.

To reach Steirische Kalkspitze using public transport, begin at the Schladming bus station. Take the bus number 940 towards Rohrmoos. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Rohrmoos' stop. From there, you will need to hike approximately 3 km to the base of Steirische Kalkspitze. Note that there may be a small fee for the bus journey.

Once you arrive at the parking area or the 'Rohrmoos' bus stop, you will need to hike to Steirische Kalkspitze. Follow the marked hiking trails which are well signposted. The hike from the bus stop is moderately challenging and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the summit.
