From Schladming town center, head towards the B320 (Enns Valley Road). Drive approximately 10 kilometers until the exit for Mandling. Take the exit and follow signs towards Mandling. Continue until you see signs for Sonnenalm. Turn onto Sonnenalmstraße and drive for about 3 kilometers to Sonnenalm. Parking is available on-site. Note that the road to Sonnenalm involves some off-road driving.

From Schladming, take a bus to Mandling. The bus departs from Schladming bus station and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Check local bus schedules for accurate times. From Mandling, walk approximately 3 kilometers to Sonnenalm via Sonnenalmstraße. Alternatively, from Mandling/Enns train station, it is approximately 549 meters.
